In 2017, ‘Het Nederlands Openlucht Museum’ in Arnhem opened the presentation the 'Canon of the Netherlands'. To accommodate this special presentation, which shows the entire history of the Netherlands, renovation of the entrance building including catering function was necessary.
The arrival of the Canon and the ambition to grow as a museum to 700,000+ visitors have been reason for the Nederlands Openluchtmuseum to develop, together with Vijverborgh, a new hospitality vision for the museum park of 44 hectares.
